ICTSI Rio Brasil continues support for families in Caju
ICTSI Rio Brasil, together with other companies operating in the Port of Rio de Janeiro, mobilized a second wave of donation to more than 102 vulnerable families in Caju last 13 and 14 May.
Each household received baskets containing food, cleaning, and personal hygiene items enough for a family of four.
The joint humanitarian effort was spearheaded by Companhia Docas do Rio de Janeiro to mitigate the socioeconomic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the communities surrounding the port. Aside from ICTSI Rio Brasil, other companies who joined the initiative are Triunfo Logística, Pennant Serviços Logístico, Píer Mauá, Gávea Logística, Rio de Janeiro Wheat Terminal, and MultiTerminais.
