AGCT holds annual coastal cleanup

Volunteer divers who joined AGCT’s coastal cleanup this year

Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT), through its HSSE Department, recently collaborated with Diving Club Rijeka to organize this year’s coastal cleanup.

Unlike regular beach cleanups, AGCT’s initiative involves collecting waste materials from underwater. Volunteer divers spent several hours collecting discarded materials from the seabed of the beach beside the terminal while the rest of the volunteers picked up trash and other waste materials from the beach.

All the collected waste were properly disposed of after the activity.

AGCT has been organizing the annual coastal cleanup for five years now to promote positive and responsible human actions towards the environment.
