ICTSI Foundation equips Davao, GenSan DepEd broadcast, media centers

The ICTSI Foundation recently turned over video production and other multimedia equipment to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Schools Division Offices in Davao and General Santos cities to boost the implementation of blended learning, specifically by boosting TV and radio-based instruction for modular and online learning.

In Davao, the Foundation assisted in converting the Division Training Center into a broadcasting and media center for teachers and school heads. The fully equipped facility is now the first educational media hub of DepEd’s South Division Level, and will be used to record and edit video and audio lessons. It will also be used to broadcast/livestream division activities and improve the capabilities of teachers to implement different learning modalities as required in the new normal.

Fully equipped: Teachers can now facilitate radio- and television-based learning without the need to rent or pitch in for equipment they need
