ICTSI scholar chosen as NEU Presidential Ambassador

ICTSI Foundation scholar and NEU Presidential Ambassador John Lenard Rivera

John Lenard Rivera, ICTSI Foundation’s scholar at Northeastern University (NEU) in Boston, Massachusetts, was recently selected as one of the university’s presidential ambassadors.

The Northeastern University Presidential Ambassador Corps represents the Office of the President in designated events and other related university activities.  Members of the corps are highly skilled and experienced student leaders, particularly the ambassadors, whose roles are to represent NEU in special events on and off campus.  They likewise engage with NEU alumni, donors and friends of the university, and network with other constituents and community leaders.

Set to graduate in May 2023 and complete his degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Rivera will serve his term as presidential ambassador during the fall semester starting in September.  He took his cooperative learning with the ICTSI Global Engineering – Infrastructure and Project Management team last year and worked on the Berths 6 and 7 project at the Manila International Container Terminal in the Philippines.
