PICT rolls out recognition program for employees

Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) has launched a new employee recognition program to further strengthen inclusivity in the workplace and motivate employees.

Each quarter, the program recognizes ‘rising stars’–employees who go the extra mile to add value to their respective functional domains–and motivate them to continue to develop professionally and become better at what they do.

PICT considers employee motivation as an important catalyst for organizational success.

The program also aims to foster a culture of healthy competition in the workplace among cross functional teams leading to better overall productivity. 

“At PICT, our policies and programs are consciously directed towards reinforcing an uplifting culture. This recognition program is another step that we have taken in this regard. We believe that by recognizing employees for their hard work, they feel more connected, engaged and motivated to maximize their potential,” said Khurram Aziz Khan, PICT chief executive officer.
