Tecon Suape joins World Cleanup Day

Tecon Suape, in coordination with the Port of Suape Authority, took part in commemorating the annual World Cleanup Day by collecting waste materials from the quays and piers in the port.

Employees collected dozens of garbage bags of waste for proper disposal during the activity, which was held last 17 September. Tecon Suape’s participation in this simple, yet very important act, is aimed to encourage employees, partners, stakeholders and communities to reflect on their consumption habits and help preserve the environment. It also reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable practices and the very future of the planet.

World Cleanup Day is a social action program that aims to combat the global problem of solid waste, including marine debris, by promoting awareness on the negative impact of improper waste disposal and rallying communities to clean their surroundings.
