BGT boosts oil & gas capability with new equipment

Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) has acquired a brand new 20-ton TCM forklift that further improves the terminal’s handling of oil & gas cargo.

Equipped with a specialized pipe attachment, the forklift is specifically designed for the efficient handling of pipes for the oil field.  

The new equipment also highlights BGT’s consistent focus on safety through the rough terrain load stabilizer, which allows the forklift to securely handle any cargo under difficult conditions. The feature allows the forklift to maintain load stability when travelling long distances or on uneven ground. 

With this capable addition to the terminal’s equipment fleet, BGT expects better truck loading performance, overall increased productivity, and safer operations in line with its commitment to a zero-Lost Time Injury (LTI) workplace.
