BGT joins IBBC’s annual Iraq conference in Dubai
Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) was among the participants in the Iraq Britain Business Council’s (IBBC) 5th Annual Iraq Conference held in Dubai last November.
Representing the largest and most advanced port terminal in Iraq, Phillip Marsham, BGT Chief Executive Officer, was a panelist in the forum about the future of infrastructure and logistics. He delivered a presentation on the recent progress in BGT as a way to promote a positive image of Iraq’s sustainable future to global businesses that are considering to invest in the country.
IBBC’s Annual Iraq Conference was attended by more than 100 delegates comprised of senior officials from Iraq, the UAE, and the UK, international businessmen, bankers, and professional advisers. The event was held at the Address Hotel in Dubai Marina under strict health protocols in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
