CMSA improves service area for employees

Contecon Manzanillo has successfully completed improvements to the employees’ service area as part of several projects that aim to promote a healthier work environment under the new normal.

The new and improved service area offers a safer, more comfortable space where employees can rest and dine.  The tables are spaced accordingly to promote physical distancing, which is one of the main interventions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  The service area also has disposable masks and sanitizing gel available for continuous use by terminal personnel.

The project was planned and carried out throughout the first half of 2021.  Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, CMSA has adopted a new work structure along with several health measures to safeguard employees and overcome the challenges of COVID-19.  The company will continue to implement improvements to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations at the Port of Manzanillo.
