CMSA renews environmental, quality management certifications
Contecon Manznaillo successfully renewed its environmental and quality management certifications last December as part of efforts to sustain its environmentally responsible operations and exceptional customer service.
Issued by PROFEPA (Procuraduria Federal de Proteccion al Ambiente or Federal Attorney's Office for Environmental Protection), the environment quality certificate is a follow-up to the Company’s registration to the National Environmental Auditing Program. CMSA voluntarily joined the program to ensure compliance and optimal efficiency of its production processes, environmental performance, and competitiveness.
CMSA also received certificates in ISO 9001 and 14001 from INR Quality Certification Services, renewing the Company’s implementation of the quality and environmental management systems. The recertification assures clients that CMSA’s services meet quality requirements and are continuously improving.
CMSA utilizes technological tools to implement excellent environment and quality practices, which include ensuring the quality of waste water discharges, limiting the volume of waste generated, and controlling hazardous wastes through proper storage, treatment, and final disposal. Identifying hazardous factors and vulnerabilities, which allow the Company to prevent moderate to severe environmental contingencies, also helped in obtaining these certifications and accreditations that attest to CMSA’s commitment to customers and stakeholders.
