ICTSI Foundation supports rebuilding of typhoon-damaged classrooms in Bicol

The ICTSI Foundation has donated PhP5 million to the Aklat, Gabay, Aruga tungo sa Pag-Angat at Pag-Asa (AGAPP) Foundation to support the rebuilding Silid Pangarap classrooms destroyed by typhoons that ravaged the province of Bicol last October and November.

The financial assistance will also cover the repair of chairs, tables, shelves, and the replacement of learning materials and other supplies for the capacity training of teachers.

Founded in 2010, the AGAPP Foundation is an implementing nongovernment organization whose mission is to help poor Filipino children escape poverty through intervention during their pre-school years. AGAPP also aims to empower pre-school teachers by providing training on the appropriate methods for early childhood development.
