MCT debuts new logo, marking rebirth
Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT), the leading marine logistics hub and container terminal in Southern Philippines, has unveiled its new corporate logo to signal the company’s rebirth.
Roberto Locsin, MCT General Manager, said the terminal will carry the best practices, experiences, and relationships it has built over a decade and pair them with digital innovations along with renewed vision and commitment.
“The new logo is more than just a symbol of rebranding,” said Mr. Locsin, adding that “it is a roadmap to the future. We’re bringing in all the good things we have learned through the years and merging that with new technology, innovation, plans, and partnerships for a big and better future.”
The new logo features three horizontal stripes in bright blue, red, and yellow – the dominant colors of the Philippine flag. The addition of these colors is symbolic of MCT’s pride in being a Philippine enterprise. More importantly, it renews the company’s commitment to nation building and putting the Filipino first at every turn.
At the same time, these same colors are dominant in the Misamis Oriental provincial seal. Incorporating these colors in the new logo is a sign of MCT’s continuing support to the province’s economic and social goals.
“We also give back and build our community because we truly care for the people who work with us every single day. We will continue to do our best to uplift the, introduce innovations, and improve their overall way of life,” explained Mr. Locsin.
He also notes that the new logo reflects the company’s growth throughout the years, while renewing MCT’s faithfulness to its fundamentals, values, and core principles. Mr. Locsin also pledged that communities within the MCT environment will also benefit from the Company’s continued growth and expansion.
“MCT continues to perform its vital function in the global supply chain, moving critical goods and sustaining economies. As the Company continues to grow, we will also develop and introduce improvements to our community and partners. We will all move forward together,” Mr. Locsin concluded.
