SPICT celebrates Safety Day
Employees of South Pacific International Container Terminal (SPICT) and their families safely gathered at the terminal warehouse to celebrate Safety Day on 19 November.
Safety and security are among the top priorities of SPICT. Letting the employees’ children visit their parents at work to see what they do daily, the Company also took the opportunity to stress the importance of keeping all workers at the terminal safe all the time. SPICT believes that people who work safely work better and are more motivated. They feel respected and at the same time respect what they do as well as their colleagues, which the Company believes are key to the terminal’s successful everyday operations.
SPICT distributed school bags to all the children who attended the event, which culminated with employees and their families sharing lunch together. Everyone observed proper distancing and followed all the safety protocols throughout the event.
