SPICT, NASFUND set up employee info booth
As part of efforts to strengthen staff loyalty, commitment and performance, South Pacific International Container Terminal (SPICT) is working closely with the National Superannuation Fund (NASFUND) – a superfund that all employees are contributing to. NASFUND and its savings arm, NCSL, offer an array of benefit schemes for its members.
Employees, including all national managers who are NASFUND members, welcomed SPICT’s recent initiative to set up a NASFUND information service booth at the terminal. The onsite information booth allows employees to utilize user-friendly electronic channels to remotely access their Superannuation NCSL accounts, check their balances, and print their transaction summaries, among other transactions.
With the setup, employees no longer need to take a day off from work to go to NASFUND and NCSL offices and wait in long queues, largely reducing their risk of contracting COVID-19.
SPICT will continue to actively engage these institutions to ensure that all membership benefits for its employees are easily accessible, especially during the pandemic.
